What is the difference between LED high voltage lamp band and low voltage lamp band?

Release Time:2023-01-10

LED light belt is often used to draw the outline of various buildings. According to the difference in the use of LED light belt and the same requirements for the light belt, there are two kinds of "high voltage LED light belt" and "low voltage LED light belt".
High-voltage LED light belt is also called AC light belt, and low-voltage LED light belt is also called DC light belt. What is the difference between high-voltage light belt and low-voltage light belt?
1) Stable:
The 220V voltage used by the high-voltage LED light belt is dangerous voltage, and there are hidden dangers in some risky applications; Low-voltage LED light bar works under DC 12V working voltage, belonging to stable voltage, and can be used in various occasions, without any danger to people.
2) Voltage:
The difference between LED light belt 24V and 220V is: 24V is low voltage, 220V is high voltage for civil use. It can also be said that the input voltage is 220V, and the working voltage is 24V. The 220V light belt can be directly connected to the 220V power supply, while the low-voltage 24V is relatively stable, but it can be connected to the power supply only when it is connected.
Inside the lamp strip plug of 220V is a converter with rectifier and constant current output. Its rectifier filter output voltage is 300V DC, and the LED lamp strip is driven by constant current conversion to control the output current of tens of mA DC. The 24V light belt is not equipped with a power converter inside, and the 24V DC power is directly input to drive the LED light belt.
Low-voltage lamp belt is divided into 12V and 24V:
12V low-voltage light belt: the voltage drop is unstable during operation, resulting in uneven light at the beginning and end of the light belt;
24V low-voltage light belt: stable step-down movement, uniform brightness at the head and tail, long service life.
