How many watts per meter is the LED lamp

Release Time:2023-01-10

The power of the lamp belt is between 10 watts and 20 watts per meter, depending on the number of lamp beads. Take ordinary lamp beads as an example. The power of each lamp bead is about 0.2 to 0.3 watts. Assuming that the number of lamp beads per meter is 50, the power of that meter is 0.2 * 50=10 watts. Different led light strips are different, so the power needs to be calculated according to their current and voltage. Power is a measure of the transmission rate of energy. In a DC circuit, it is the product of voltage V and current A; In the communication system, it is much more complicated. No matter high voltage or low voltage led light strips, they work by converting ac to dc.
Calculation method of led light band power:
White lamp (single lamp bead for example) LED working voltage (U): 1.8V-3.6V (mainly determined by the chip, the working voltage varies with the color)
Rated current (I): [one lamp core 10mA-20mA]
Power (P): P=UI, i.e. maximum power: 3V * 20mA=3V * 0.02A=0.06W (1A=1000mA)
